Bling was an unexpected birthday present to Lexi in 2012. Her owner was needing to relocate and offered Lexi a deal she couldn't pass up on this lovely mare. The fact that the offer occured on her birthday didn't make it easier to pass. So Lexi drove up to north Texas, and brought her to her new home.

The original plan was to get her going under saddle again, and enjoy some flatwork and trail riding for a couple years before integrating her into the breeding program. But an old injury to the spine developed some scar tissue that makes riding uncomfortable for the mare. So as of 2015, Bling has been designated as an official broodmare. She was exposed to Spark via live cover for a 2016 foal. UPDATE: Bling delivered a handsome bay tobiano colt on June 28th, 2016.

Bling is a very symmetrically marked mare on her body. As a tovero, she has the white tobiano base with patches on both flanks.

This image shows that Bling's left side almost matches her right side perfectly.

She does not have the chest "shield" that many tobianos show.

The marking symmetry ends with her face. She's got a half blaze which gives her a very striking and unique appearance. Blue eyes can be sensitive to sunlight, so her black side of her face helps protect her left eye. Her right eye is more vulnerable to sunlight, being surrounded by white fur, but she's got natural "eye liner" that will provide some natural protection from sunlight irritation.
